John William Lawson

John W. Lawson, known affectionately as John to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024, at Sakura House, at the age of 63. Born on December 7, 1960, in Toronto, John's life was one of compassion, warmth, and enduring love.

John is predeceased by his father, Ross Lawson, his brother, Bruce Durling, and his beloved wife, Lyn Lawson. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Jackie Lawson; sister, Sue Lawson (Chris); daughters, Lauralee Van Den Brock (Kyle) and Katie Kittmer (Ian Cleghorn); and his adored grandchildren, Clara, Ella, Isaac, Wesley, and Evelyn.

John's life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and the joy of everyday moments. As Helen Keller once said, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." John's legacy will continue to live on through the cherished memories he created with his family and friends.
