KILA - At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, November 8, 2009, John Kila of Woodstock in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Betty Kila (nee Trotter). Dear father of Tom Kila (Stephanie) and Kathy Park (Larry) all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Lindsay Kila, Melissa Marks (Derek), Amanda Park (Trevor Greenfield), Hailey Kila, and Mason Kila and great grandfather of Tarra Greenfield. John was a longtime member and past provincial director of the N.C.H.A./F.C.R.V. and was a longtime employee of Newmac Manufacturing. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Jane VanPatter of St. David's United Church officiating. Cremation to follow. If desired, contributions to the London Regional Cancer Clinic or the Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
