John Allan Hinchcliffe

HINCHCLIFFE, John A. – Passed away on Sunday March 7, 2021 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Lorene R. (nee Raper) Hinchcliffe for over 48 years. Loved father of Amber (Ian Hunter) Matheson and Jared (Sandra Sytsma) Hinchcliffe. Loving grandfather of Emma, Elise, Max, Dale, and Bailey. Dear brother of Barb Hinchcliffe, Doug (Chris) Hinchcliffe, Dean (Anita) Hinchcliffe, and will always be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Predeceased by his parents; Bob and Jean (nee McLaren) Hinchcliffe. John was a school teacher at Central Public School and D.M. Sutherland in Woodstock for over 30 years. He was a member of the Historical Automobile Society of Canada and the Embro Thistle Singers. Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday March 11, 2021 from 2:30 – 4:30 and 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 am.  (Please R.S.V.P. your preferred time for visitation and/or service on the funeral home website, space is limited) Cremation will follow.
