HEERSINK - Suddenly at his home in Embro on Wednesday December 28, 2005. John Heersink of Embro in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Hendrika Heersink (nee Vervelde) for over 59 years. Dear father of Jackie Johnson (Allan) of Peterborough, Alice Heersink of Stratford, Tina McDonald of Waterloo, Anne Hopf (John) of Campbellford, Hank Heersink (Christine) of Bailieboro, Ben Heersink (Lynne) of Brooksdale and Angela Zilke (Mark) of Embro. Loved grandfather of eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Hendrika Jolink (Frederick), Brother-in-law Gert and by his sister-in-law Annie Vervelde. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Saturday December 31, 2005 after 12:30 pm where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30 pm.
