GYIMESI, JOHN - At Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, March 12, 2007, John Mathias Gyimesi of Woodstock in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Elaine M. Gyimesi (nee Taylor) for over 25 years. Loved father of Adam (Andrea Morrice) of Woodstock and Laura Gyimesi (Cameron Lusk) of London. Dear son of Mary Gyimesi (nee Schwarz) of Woodstock and Steve Gyimesi of California, brother of Sylvia Gyimesi of California. Dear son-in-law of Raymond and Kathleen Taylor of RR# 1, Woodstock and brother-in-law of Joan Dishman and her husband Frank of St. Mary's, Louise Ens and her husband Barry of Waterdown and Paul Taylor of Mississauga. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. John worked at Standard Tube for over 35 years, was a longtime volunteer with the Canadian Mental Health Association and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs hockey fan. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday March 16, 2007 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30 pm.
