FRASER, John Allan With heavy hearts, we grieve the loss of John Allan Fraser, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. John passed away on Thursday March 1st 2018 at Woodstock Hospital, in his 70th year. John was a man of quiet passions and deeply held beliefs. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially at family camping trips to the Pinery. He was an avid reader, gardener, bread-baker, sports fan, swimmer, and nature-lover. John's loss is mourned by his soulmate and wife of 43 years, Janice; by his sons John (Doreen), Simon (Sylvia), and James (Daniella); by his grandchildren (Arthur, Hugh, Volker, Tristan, Dawson, Grace, and Violet); and by Frances, Andre, and Patrice. He is survived by his brother Bill (Michele) and sister Kathy (Greg) and remembered fondly by Jim (Janine) and by cousins, nieces, nephews, and brothers- and sisters-in-law. In accordance with John's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
