John Jan Enzlin

ENZLIN - Gone to be in glory with his saviour Jesus Christ on Tuesday February 17, 2009. John (Jan) Enzlin of Woodstock in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Barbara "Barb" (nee Wybenga) Enzlin for nearly 20 years. Dear father of Ralph and his wife Marian of Woodstock, Fritz and his wife Pam of Simcoe and Robert and his wife Elisabeth of Chatham. Loved grandfather of ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also survived by Janet Enzlin - vanMarrum of Woodstock. Dear brother of Riet, Inge, Tan (Bram), Bep, Wil (Bert), Truus (Johan) all of the Netherlands and remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Roel and his wife Annie, sisters Coby and Emmy, brothers-in-law Henk and Arie. John was a longtime member of the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church. He took immense pride in his work as a painter and interior decorator for over 50 years. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday February 19, 2009 from 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 577 Norwich Ave., Woodstock on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. Dirk Miedema officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church Special Project Building Fund would be appreciated.
