DINNER, John "Jack" passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, on Tuesday August 20, 2013, at Victoria Hospital, London in his 80th year. He is survived by his wife Helen (Johnson) of 57 years, son John (Christine), Brenda (Mark) and Karen (Chris). Seven grandchildren, Megan (Brad), Lisa, Laura (Steve), Jeffery (Michelle), Sean, Alexander (Danielle), Craig (Cheslea) and four great-grandchildren Emma, Rowan, Tristan and Aaron. Also survived by one sister, Ruth MacArthur. Predeceased by one brother, Jim (1997). Friends and family may call at Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford on Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday August 24, 2013 at 11am with Susan Cole officiating, interment at Zion 7th Line Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Thorndale United Church or the charity of your choice.
