BUS, John - At the London Health Sciences Centre - University Campus on Saturday May 12, 2012. John Bernard Bus of Ingersoll in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Verhoeven) Bus for fifty years. Dear father of Mary Jane Stead of Sarnia, Jeffrey Bus of RR# 2, Ingersoll and Sandra Coomber and her husband Dan of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Maranda, Mariah, Darren, Nathan and gre at grandfather of Anthony and Alexis. Dear brother of Riek (Jan) Duijnhoven-Bus, Toon (Annie) Bus - Hendriks, Martien (Meis) Bus - Dahler, Mietje (Jan) Hendriks - Bus, Piet (Truus) Bus - Rutgers and brother -in-law to Cathy (Marinus) Arts, Bert (Mary) Verhoeven, Kathy Verhoeven, Diane (Jack) Poels, Harry (Tina) Verhoeven, Mary (Peter) Wynen and Martin Verhoeven. Predeceased by his son Tony Bus (2004), brother Ben Bus, sister Anne Bus and by his brother-in-law Matt Verhoeven. John came to Canada in 1952 and met his bride to be in 1961 then moved to Simcoe, Ontario. They married in 1962 and settled in the Ingersoll area until his retirement. John was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Ingersoll for several years. Friends will be received by the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday May 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas St., Woodstock on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Building Fund would be appreciated.
