MURPHY - At Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, September 4, 2010, Joan Arlene Murphy (nee Allen) of Woodstock in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Fred Murphy for over 53 years. Dear mother of Lori Botelho (Paul) of St. Catharines, Sharon Michalski (Adam) of Oxford Centre, Wayne Murphy (Aprile Nash) and Michael Murphy (Michelle) all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Aaron, Owen, Meagan, Marcus, Brynn, and Halle. Predeceased by her sisters Doris Allen and Beryl Warren. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm.
