Joan Isabelle Harper

HARPER, Joan Isabelle - passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the age of 76. She was the beloved partner of the late John Hornyak (2012). Loving mother of Tracy Harper-Anam (Cyril Anam), and Mark Harper. Cherished grandmother to Cole Anam and Lauren Hornyak. Special friend to Mary and Susie Hornyak. Joan was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Isabella Harper, sister Betty Weeks and husband Lloyd as well as brother Donald and wife Lois. She will also be missed by her loving cats Lucy and Meagan. Joan was a real estate agent in Oxford County for many years and had been the proprietor of Harper's Bazaar on Dundas St. in Woodstock. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004, on Thursday, November 28, 2013, 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00am with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
