CRAIB- Peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home Woodstock, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday September 29th, 2009. Joan H. Craib (nee Potter) of Woodstock in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas H. Craib (2007). Dear mother of Harold and his wife Simone of Woodstock, and Jim of Ayr. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Michael, Lisa, Jordan, Evan and Eric. Special great grandmother to Kailey and Dylan. Joan is also survived by her sisters Doris Hill and her husband Bill, Eileen Clifford and her husband Lou, and Mary Tilley and her husband Alvin all of Woodstock. Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Violet and Connie and brothers Reg, Harry, and Jack Craib. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock 519 539 0004 on Thursday October 1st, 2009 from 7-9 pm. A private family service will follow at a later date.
