SIMON- Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday August 18, 2010. James (Jim) Simon of Woodstock in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Joan Lindsay-Simon. Cherished father of Julaine (Paul) Halashewski of Burford, Jennifer (Ian) Simon Warnock, Kaitlin and Christopher Simon all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Liam, Kayle and Lauren. Dear brother of John (Linda) Simon and Mary Ann Simon all of Woodstock. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Julius and Julia Simon. Jim loved golfing, baseball and was an avid fan of the Dale Earnhardt legacy. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 904 Dundas St., Woodstock, Tuesday at 1:30 pm.
