Jim Fredrick O'Neill

James Fredrick O'Neill, known by most as Jim, passed away September 24, 2023, at Woodstock Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Jim was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Kelly) for 62 years and proud father to Karen Langdon (Byron) and the late Michael O'Neill, who passed away in 1990. Blessed with three grandchildren, Caitlin Mealand (Sean), Trevor Langdon (Kristin), and Kevin Langdon (Taylor). Great grandfather to Jack, Sam, and Ruby Mealand, Lucas and Sophie Langdon.
In his work life Jim spent his career with the Woodstock Public Utilities. Serving as a Lineman before retiring in 1994.
Born December 31,1939 and raised in Port Dover, he was a lover of the lake life and loved being near the water. Boating was one of his favorite activities, a pastime that brought him immense pleasure and he was especially proud of building “Sloe Gim,” a testament to his craftsmanship and love for the water.
As he requested there will be no funeral service.
