Jessie May Pelton

PELTON, Jessie May passed away on Monday March 8, 2010 in London, Ontario. Beloved daughter of the late Lionel James Pelton and Janet Ann (nee McDonald) Pelton of Embro and Stratford. Sister of Mrs. Florence Patterson of Stratford and Lewis Pelton of Embro. Survived by nephew Kenneth (Reta) Huether of Stratford, great nieces Susan Walker of Gadshill, Patti Huether of London, Katherine Goodhew of Stratford, and great nephews Dan Otton of Stratford, David Otton of Alberta. Predeceased by her sister Mrs. Emma (Pelton) Huether (1981), and niece Marilyn (Huether) Otton. A graduate of Woodstock Collegiate Institute, MacDonald College, University of Guelph and of a special Dietetic course administered by the University Hospital of Edinburgh, Scotland. Jessie worked at the Grand River Hospital (KW) in Kitchener and at the General Hospital in Windsor. A member of the United Church of Canada. A funeral service will be held at the Knox United Church, Embro on Thursday March 11, 2010 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Judy Campbell officiating. Interment later in the North Embro Cemetery.
