Jeffrey Allan Ransome

With sadness, but gratitude for his life, Jeffrey’s family announces his passing, surrounded by a loving circle of family, at Woodstock Hospital on December 7, 2024 at the age of 57. Jeff is predeceased by his parents Doris and Bill Ransome, and is survived by his siblings, Sandra Bruinewoud, Frank Elsom (Linda), Bill Ransome (Barb) and Brenda Sampson and their families. He is forever remembered by his second family, the Woodstock District Developmental Services (“WDDS”), where he was surrounded by deep friendship, love and support throughout his life and his passing. Jeffrey was well known in the recreational department where he especially enjoyed music, singing and dancing. He also loved swimming, bowling and cheering on the Blue Jays. His life was full and well lived – he will be greatly missed.

Friends and family will gather for a Celebration of Jeffrey’s Life on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 2-4pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Woodstock District Developmental Services in Jeffrey’s memory.
