Jeanette Box
June 3, 1927 — July 30, 2023
Margaret “Jeanette” Box, 96, of Woodstock, died peacefully surrounded by family at Chelsey Park Long Term Care, London on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
Dear mother of her two daughters Barbara Box (Stephen Giuliano) of Algonquin Highlands and Margaret Campbell (Brian) of Belmont. Step-grandmother to Heather Campbell of Bracebridge and great- grandmother of Everleigh. Predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years Jack Box (2002). Also predeceased by her brother, William Bell (1992). She is survived by her sister-in-law Phyllis Bell, and by several cousins, nieces and nephew, and her long-time friend Doreen Bateman.
Jeanette was born in Woodstock on June 3, 1927. She was employed in Woodstock at LaFrance Textiles, Oxford County Health Unit and Oxford Regional Centre. She and Jack raised their daughters in Woodstock and were avid five-pin bowlers. Jeanette was also an enthusiastic Blue Jays, curling and CNN fan, and was a talented knitter, needle-point artist and puzzler.

Friends will be received for visitation on Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday morning at 11am. Interment in the family plot in the Anglican Cemetery, Vansittart Ave, Woodstock.
Memorial donations may be made to The Childrens’ Health Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Association.
