Jean A. (Sackrider) Smith

SMITH - The family of Jean A. Smith (nee Sackrider) sadly announces her passing at Woodstock on Friday, July 28, 2006 in her 83rd year. A wonderful mother, she will be greatly missed by her six children and their spouses: Wayne and Gloria, Diane Wall and Bill, Karen Pooley and Gary, John and Orreen, Debby Visser and Arnold, and Chris and Andrea and by her twelve grandchildren, Janet, Stephen (wife Stephanie), Bryan, Graeme, David, Lisa, Fraser, Jessie, Andrew, Ryan, Nathan, Jeremy and great-grandson, Liam Smith (son of Stephen). She will also be missed by all who knew her, including her lifelong friend Dot Utley and treasured niece and friend, Barb Lamour. Jean was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Andy in 1997 . She is survived by her sister Jessie Hollingsworth. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Jean's life.
