Jean (Giroldi) Pozzobon

POZZOBON- After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep sadness that the family of Jean Pozzobon announces her passing at the Woodstock General Hospital on April 3rd, 2006. Dear mother of Carolyn (Calix) Terpstra Sr., R. David Pozzobon (friend Shelley) and Donna Layne. Loving grandmother of Calix Terpstra Jr., Rena (Scott) Kubota, Albert (Lori) Asztalos III, David (Jodi) Pozzobon, Daryl Pozzobon and Darin (Jennifer) Pozzobon. Loving great-grandmother of Paige and Connor McMahon, Steven, Monica and Nicole Asztalos, Ashley and David Pozzobon and Carlee and Danielle Pozzobon. Sister of Marie Hough and Victor (Audrey) Giroldi. Predeceased by her husband Angelo Pozzobon, daughter Sharon Asztalos, granddaughter Monique Asztalos and infant granddaughter Asztalos, brothers Anthony, Peter and Albert Giroldi, sisters Maria (infant) and Olimpia (Mary) Norris. The family wishes to thank the nurses of the 4th floor and especially the Palliative Care Unit of the Woodstock General Hospital for all of their care and help. Family and friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Wednesday April 5, 2006 from 2-4 &7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2:00 pm.
