Jean (Pattinson) Pierce

PIERCE, Frances Jean October 26, 1918 - March 15, 2012 Frances Jean Pierce (nee Pattinson), 93, passed peacefully at Kensington Village Nursing Home in London on March 15, 2012. Beloved wife of the late William Pierce and mother to Beverly (Chicago, IL), Mary (Quintin Lang) and Sandra McCauley (Ken Nicholson), both of London, and the late Wayne Tomlinson (Susan) of Winnipeg. Loving grandmother to Avril and Madeline Lang and Marcie McCauley. Preceded in death by brothers Donald (Florence) and Robert (Lillian) and sister Helen Parkinson (Harry). Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Jean was a lifelong resident of Woodstock and an active member of All Saints Anglican Church for many years. The family extends special thanks to the staffs at both the Chelsey Park retirement center and Kensington Village, who cared for Jean in her final years. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 30, from 7-9 p.m. at Brock & Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock). Funeral service on Saturday, March 31 at 11 a.m. at Brock & Visser, with reception following. Interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
