Jean (Wareham) Conard-Ferguson

Jean Conard-Ferguson, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 28, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on January 21, 1941, in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
Married to Walter Ferguson for 8 years and predeceased by her first husband Ed Conard of 44 years.

A devoted mother, Jean's legacy is carried on through her children: Brenda Shapiro (late Harry) and Nancy Conard. Her nurturing spirit and zest for life are reflected in the lives of her grandchildren: Brittany, Brad, Erica, Brad and Evan, and great-grandchildren Ella Jean and Harry. Stepmother to Cheryl (Mark) Marshall, Randy (Stacey) Ferguson, and Cindy (Paul) Catunto, and step grandmother to Marilla, Elizabeth, Lydia, Gavin, Nathan, Caleb, Dominic, Jayden, Mallery, Desiree, Brendyn, Cadence, and Jordyn.

Jean was the cherished sister of Myrtle, Harold, Junior, Eric, and sisters-in-law June and Marion. Her extended family, including many nieces and nephews, will fondly remember her for her vivacious spirit and the love she generously shared.

A natural performer, Jean's love for country music was only matched by her passion for dancing, singing, and watching the Blue Jays games with Walter. Jean's presence was a source of comfort and happiness to her family and friends, and her absence will leave a silence that echoes through the hearts of those she touched.

Jean's life was a celebration of the simple joys and deep connections that make life truly meaningful. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we take comfort in knowing that her melody will play on in the memories we hold dear and in the love that binds us together.

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004) on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 from 2 to 3 pm. The memorial service will take place at 3:00 pm.
