Jansje "Jean" (Dewit) Feenstra

FEENSTRA, Jansje "Jean" (nee DeWit)- Was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 at the Woodstock Hospital, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Feenstra (2012). Loving mother of Peter Feenstra, Neil Feenstra, Patricia (John) Rood, and Marie (James) Schneider. Cherished grandma of Gerrie (Charlene) Rood, Linda (Wil) Mijnders, Robert (Kristen) Rood, Lisa (Martin) Dendekker, and Darrel, Nico, and Anna Schneider. Proud great grandma of 10. Survived by her brother Gerrit (Mien) DeWit, sisters-in-law Akke (Gabbe) Hellinga and Mary Feenstra, and brothers-in-law Jan Post and Bouwe (Anna) Feenstra. Predeceased by both her parents and 8 of her siblings. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019, from 2 to 4 pm, with the funeral service to take place on Monday in the chapel at 11:00 am with Reverend Martin Dendekker officiating. Burial in the spring at the Hillview Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Mission to Malawi through Grace Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
