BARKHUIS - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday February 17, 2008. Jans Barkhuis of Victoria Rest Home, Woodstock and formerly of Chapel St., Woodstock in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Alida (nee VanTilburg) Barkhuis. Dear father of Corry Barkhuis and her husband Herb Watson of Toronto, Ruby Isaacs and her husband Dave of Ottawa and the late Ralph Barkhuis (2004). Loved brother of Hans and Roelf Barkhuis both of Holland and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Roelie Barkhuis, brother Harm and by a sister-in-law. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday February 18, 2008 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bob Loerts officiating.
