VONK, Janke July 22, 1912 - October 5, 2008 It is with both sadness and celebration that our family announces the home-going of Janke Vonk. Beloved wife of the late John Vonk (1980). Loving mother of Jean and Dan Bird and Liz Hostetler. Oma of Jenn and Mike Caskanette, Randy and Karen Bird, Danielle and Jessie Bird, Sarah, David and Rachel Hostetler. Will be sadly missed by her cherished great-grandchildren, Maddie, Ellie, Gabbie and Max Caskanette, Annalene, Miriam and Samuel Bird. Much loved aunt of John and Bev Fennema, Fred and Linda Fennema, Karel and Auriel Fennema, Deb and Bruce Jepma. Visitation will be from 7-9pm on Monday October 6th at Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), where the memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday October 7th in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kids Alive Canada, 55 Fleming Dr. Unit 2., Cambridge, ON N1T 2A9 and may be arranged through the funeral home.
