Janice Carol Parliament

Janice Parliament, in her 61st year of Woodstock, Ontario, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on July 18th, 2023. Dearly beloved mother of Prairie Parliament, Patrick Parliament (and mother-in-law to his wife Christina Foisy) and Brooke Lyn Pagliaroli (and mother-in-law to her husband Tyler Pagliaroli), grandmother of Bentley Pagliaroli and Emerson Pagliaroli, sister of the late Barbara MacIver, Patricia Beavis and Lynda Beavis, and wife to the late Paul Parliament. A tireless advocate in the face of adversity for the happiness and well-being of her children, she spared no expense or trouble to ensure that her kids had the loveliest upbringings possible and was an ardent lover of flowers, animals and competitive card games. She brought her inimitable penchant for empathy, communication and problem solving to a variety of professional fields, most of all at Woodstock District Developmental Services and as an Educational Assistant for special needs children. Her family extends their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors of Woodstock General Hospital for faithfully attending to her care in her last days. Cremation to take place in the coming days and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON. Celebration Of Life service will take place there on Sunday, July 23rd at 1:00 PM.
