EVANS- At her residence on Thursday February 25, 2010. Janet Mary (nee McCombs) Evans of Lisaard House, Cambridge and formerly of Woodstock in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Stewart Evans (2009). Dear mother of Earl and his wife Reta of North Bay, Carol McDougall of St. Jacobs and Ellen Grupstra and her husband Jack of Brantford and mother-in-law of Russ MacIntosh of Baden. Loved grandmother of six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Isabel MackIntosh of Kitchener and survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Brenda MacIntosh, brother Bob and sister Lavina . Janet was a longtime member of Oxford Baptist Church. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday February 26, 2010 from 7-9 pm. A private family service will be held at a later date.
