Jane (Mossel) Poort

POORT- Gone home to be with her Lord at her residence on August 2, 2005, Jantje "Jane" Poort (nee Mossel) of Woodingford Lodge and formerly of Devonshire Ave., Woodstock in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late William Poort (1983). Dear mother of Richard and his wife Alida of Woodstock, Sylvia Vanderlei and her husband Peter of Abbotsford, B.C., Peter and his wife Hanna and Deak and his wife Katie all of Ingersoll. Loved grandmother of Bill (Marg), Jean Twynstra (Joe), Nell Los (Chris), Pauline Naftel (Dave), David Vanderlei, Bill Vanderlei (Lucy), Sandra Poort (Kenn) Linda Poort, Donald Poort (Angela), Angela Parker (Rick), Allison Poort, Dan Poort (Julie) and great-grandmother of twenty five and one great-great-granddaughter. Predeceased by her grandson John Poort and by her three sisters. Jane was a longtime member of the Covenant Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Thursday from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7 - 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 577 Norwich Ave., Woodstock on Friday August 5, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
