HENDERSON, Jane Elizabeth (Congdon) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12th, 2015, surrounded by family and friends at Sakura House, Woodstock at the age of 56. Beloved wife and best friend of Paul Henderson, loving mother of Tom (Whitney), John, and Kate, Kintore. Jane will also be sadly missed by her step-father Bill Perdue, aunts Margaret Brown and Jean Conquergood, her sister Sue Bramberger (Walter), brother Bill Congdon (Liane Gallop), sister-in-law Jan Yost (John), brother-in-law Graham (Lynne), her nieces and nephew, her cousins and all who knew her. Predeceased by her parents Audrey Perdue (2015) and George Congdon (1965). Jane was a creative and passionate individual who loved life, sharing her talents and interests with others, preparing and eating fine food, singing in the church choir, playing the piano, arts and crafts, decorating, birds, flowers, plants and gardening, her work as a registered Dietitian and most importantly, her family. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Tanya Thornton, Reverend Doug Peck, and the devoted group of friends and co-workers who organized visits, food, driving and provided care, support and companionship to Jane and her family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15th, 2015 from 1-3 & 4-6pm at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 16th, at Kintore United Church at 3:30pm with reception to follow in the church hall. Private interment in the Kintore Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kintore United Church, Terry Fox Foundation, or Sakura House and may be arranged through the funeral home.
