NANCEKIEVILL - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday November 11, 2008. James "Jamie" Scott Nancekievill of Woodstock in his 39th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Carrie Michelle (ne Pick) Nancekievill for over 17 years. Loving father of Taylor, Ashlyn and Krista all at home. Loved son of Rev. Dave and Dawn Nancekievill of Gravenhurst. Dear brother of Dave and his wife Lori of Woodstock, Sherry Watkinson and her husband Dave, Steven and his wife Tracey all of Bracebridge, son-in-law of Jack and Vera Waud of Ingersoll and brother-in-law of Kathy Story and her husband David, Nancy Hume and her husband Jim, and Ross Pick all of Ingersoll. He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and by his many friends. Predeceased by his brother-in-law and best friend Chris Waud (1987). Jamie was a longtime member of the Hi-Way Pentecostal Church in Ingersoll for over 25 years, he served there on the board and could be seen playing the drums on most Sundays. Jamie and his brother were radio show hosts on Hope FM. They had the Retro Saturday Night show and were known as "Diamond Dave" and "Boomer James". He was a dedicated hockey dad. He could frequently be found at the arena watching or helping out the Woodstock Jr. Navy Vets. He was also a past employee of Collins and Aikman in Ingersoll for 20 years and most recently at Steel Technologies in Woodstock. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday November 14, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Jamie's life will be held at the Hi-Way Pentecostal Church, 584118 Beachville Rd. on Saturday November 15, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
