James "Jim" Henry Turek
February 16, 1969 — May 13, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of James ‘Jim’ Henry Turek, in his 56th year of life on May 13th, 2024.
Beloved husband of Darlene Turek and cherished father to Ashley (Scott) Kirkpatrick, Antonio (Lexi) Pimentel, Aleisha Cromwell, Adam (Aleisha) Pimentel, Brittanie (Gaston) Cromwell, Shauna (Ryan) Hutchison, and Alex (Selena) Pimentel and the late Jordan Cromwell(2015). Beloved Poppa to Brian, Owen, Skyler, Paula, Brooklynne, Axle, Arel, Elanna, Tatum, Arilyn, Augustus, and Vitorino.
Son of Henry Turek (2017) (Sherri), and Susan Peirce (Ron). Son in law to Linda and the late Brian Cromwell(2004). Survived by his siblings Jason (Linda) Turek, Laura (Wade) Thibideau, Lindsey (Shaun) Chambers, Deanna Lightheart and Tasha Lightheart. Best friends Steve and Shari Babcock and Dave and Bambi Scheltema. Also remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
Jim loved to go camping with his wife Darlene. He was a devoted husband, father and very proud Poppa. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will take place on Friday May 17th from 4-8 pm, and Saturday May 18th from 12 noon - 12:45 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 18th at 1 pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave 519-539-0004 and will be livestreamed in the link below under Funeral Services). Interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery followed by a luncheon at Moose Lodge (690 Sutherland Dr. Woodstock). If you so desire, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
