James "Jim" Norman Piggott

Piggott, James (Jim) - of Woodstock and formerly Innerkip, passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock on July 16, 2020 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Mary Lou (nee Wilkinson), proud and loving father of Christina (Gavin) Foster, Janice Moorley and Joan (John) Norman. He will be missed by seven grandchildren; Anna, Alec and Aden Schaefer of Thamesford, Connor and Jason Moorley of Waterloo, and Justine and Jenna Norman of Hickson. Dear brother of Ann Hildred, brother-in-law of Margie Piggott and Barb Wilkins. Predeceased by brother John Piggott and brothers-in-law John Hildred and Art Wilkins. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by parents Norman and Violet Piggott.
Our family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the kind and caring staff at Woodingford Lodge, especially the wonderful staff in Lakewood.
Jim will be remembered as a former principal of several schools in Oxford County. He will also be remembered for his love of antique cars, playing card games, gardening, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
