James Burton Wentzell

WENTZELL, James Burton- With a wink and a smile Dad/Grandpa went in peace, in his 88th year. He leaves behind his loving family. Daughters Patricia Wentzell and Diane (Brian) Bergsma. Grandchildren and families, Wayland James (Jessica) Fenton, Brandy Lee (Randy) Gratton, Breanne Marie (Drew) Freeman, Ashley Nicole (Nick) Bergsma/DeKnibber and eleven Great Grandchildren. Brothers-in-law Ron Calhoun, Charles (Betty) McManus and James (Judy) McManus. Sisters-in-law Helen Wentzell, Rose Dion and Rita Christie. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, and their families. Predeceased by loving wife Dorothy McManus (2015), son James Douglas Wentzell (1967), parents Bertha and Douglas Ford, sister Frances Marie Calhoun (2017), brother Leo Wentzell (2007) and brother-in-law Robert Christie. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for visitation on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 from 1 to 2 at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel,177 Dundas Street Thamesford, Ontario (519-285-2427), with the memorial service at 2:00 pm. Inurnment to follow at the St. John's Anglican Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to The Children's Hospital L.H.S.C. in London or to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
