TAYLOR- At Woodstock General Hospital on Friday May 18, 2007. James (Jim) A.W. Taylor of R.R.# 4 Woodstock in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Hallie Taylor (nee Johnston) for over 53 years. Dear father of Ross Taylor, Barbara Taylor and her husband Robert McTaggart all of Woodstock, Mary Taylor and her husband Kevin Johnston of Stratford. Loved grandfather of Andrew and Kathryn McTaggart, Margaret and David Johnston and Jennifer Gowing. Dear brother of Jean Droog of Embro, Betty Prensler of Burlington, Ruth Beane and her husband Lawrence of Goderich. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jim was a 4H leader, member of the Canadian Seed Growers Association and a Robertson Associate, former Director of the Oxford County Pork Producers and Waterloo-Oxford Co-Op, and was employed at Standard Tube for over 20 years. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) Tuesday May 22, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Heather Weaver-Orosz officiating. Interment Oxford Centre Pioneer Cemetery.
