James Edward "Yimmy" Sears

SEARS - After a courageous battle with cancer at Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, James "Yimmy" Edward Sears of Woodstock in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Sara Lynn Sears (nee Hall). Dear father of Mark, Lindsay, Justin, and Jarod Sears. Loved son-in-law of Penny Frew. Dear brother of William Sears and his wife Judy, Bob Sears and his wife Carol, and Marjorie Murphy and her late husband Stan and brother-in-law of David Hall and his wife Franca. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lewis and Marjorie Sears and daughter Michele Sears. Jim was an avid golfer and fisherman. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday, May 1, 2009 after 10 am where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11 am.
