James Alfred Rollings

ROLLINGS, James - Passed in peace on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Marian (Hall) for the past 52 years. Loving father to David of Chatham and Paul of Tillsonburg. Proud grandfather of Jaiden, Justin, Stephen, Jessica (Daniel) and Haylee. Great grandfather of Dakota, Harley and Ivy. Missed by the Hall family, Carl (Marg) of Arthur, John (Marilyn) of Brantford and Jim (Barb) of Harriston and all of their families. Jim predeceased by 2 infant sons James Andrew and William John, also his sister Frances and husband Harold Halladay and their son Edward of Grimsby. Jim is survived by his nephew Blake and niece Kathy and their families. James will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father and friend. He worked for the Ontario Pork Produce Board as a sales and marketing manager for 39 years, ran the Cedar Creek Golf course in Woodstock for 5 years and part time at Sto-It for 8 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the St. David's United Church 190 Springbank Ave. North, Woodstock, on Monday August 27th 2018, from 1:30-2:30pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:30 pm.
