James Edgar "Jim" Riddell

RIDDELL, James Edgar - Peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday March 5th 2017. James Riddell of Woodstock in his 92nd year. Beloved husband to Kathleen Marie Riddell (nee Matthews) and the late Merle Riddell. Loved grandfather to Laurie Kunkul and Patricia Laemers. Great-grandfather to Kathleen Kunkul, Heather Kunkul, Rebecca Laemers and Logan Laemers. Also survived by his brother-in-law Eugene Pierce, and several nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his son Albert James Riddell, and siblings Raymond (Peggy) Riddell, Ernest (Joyce) Riddell , Jack (Aileen) Riddell, and Ellen Pierce. Jim served in the Canadian Navy during WW II, was a 70 year member of the Masonic Lodge Ancient St. Johns #3 Kingston, Order of the Eastern Star Khaki Chapter #27, and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55 Woodstock. Friends may be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, ON (519)539-0004 on Wednesday March 8, 2017 after 10:00am, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am with Rev. Chris Travers of Church of the Good Shepherd officiating. Interment later at Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Huntingford.
