James Stanley Podger

PODGER - At Scarborough General Hospital on Friday, January 26th, 2007. James Stanley Podger of Scarborough in his 73rd year. Dear brother of Marjorie Gunn and her late husband Douglas (2005) of Woodstock. Loved uncle of Nancy Tuovinen and her husband Roy of Woodstock, Barbara Schram and her husband Russ and their sons David and Adam of R.R.#6 Woodstock. Also survived by many good friends and neighbours. James was born in Galt, Ontario on May 9, 1934, he was the son of the late Sidney and Jean Podger. After graduating from the University of Michigan as an Electrical Engineer, he worked with the Toronto office of Forensic Sciences for many years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), Monday after 1:00 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Monday at 2:00 pm.
