KUNEY- At Woodstock General Hospital on Friday, April 3, 2009. James J. Kuney of Woodstock and formerly of Guelph and Kitchener in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Virginia J. (nee Derkus) Kuney (1997). Dear father of Gary Kuney and his partner Nancy Cornforth of Hanover and Kathy Kean and her husband Scott of Bright and father-in-law of Nancy Kuney of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Dean (Stephanie), Holly Kitchen (Brad), Brian, Mark, Michael, Christopher, Melissa and Steven and loved great grandfather of Riley. Also survived by his nephew Steven. Predeceased by a brother and a sister. Jim was a past owner and operator of Home Hardware in Woodstock for nearly twenty years. A private family service was held at the Longworth Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004. Cremation had taken place.
