James William Hayes

HAYES, James W. - Passed away peacefully at his home in Woodstock on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in his 86th year. Loving husband of Marlene for almost 62 years. Cherished father of Lynn (Maynard Hawley) Maahs, Mark (Tanya Weber) Hayes. Loving Papa to Jim (Melissa) Maahs, Steven (Brittany) Hayes and great grandchildren Aiden, Jack, Zoey and Eva. Jim was a longtime employee of Standard Tube. Jim loved to watch his kites take flight, play a tune on his harmonica or work on one of his wood carvings.  Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Dundas Street United Church, 285 Dundas St. Woodstock, on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm where the memorial service will take place at 3:00pm.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Dundas Street United Church or a charity of ones choice.  Personal online condolences at brockandvisser.com.
