James "Jim" Arthur Deadman

DEADMAN, James A. (Jim) - Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Thursday, April 9th 2015 in the early hours of the morning in his 78th year. He was born on Monday July 5th 1937 in Shower's Corners. Survived by his beloved wife Nancy M. (nee) Parson for 60 years. Beloved father of Wendy (Duane) Steinmetz, Kathy Deadman, Julie (Lawrence Watson) Cook and Dave (Roxanne Harris) Deadman. Loving grandfather of twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Joyce Yohn, Jack (Linda) Parsons and Tom (Barb) Parsons. Predeceased by his parents, David and Jean Deadman and his sisters Muriel, Shirley and Joan. Also predeceased by his sister-in-law June Kirk. Jim is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 55, Woodstock and CAW Local 636. A private family service was held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004. Interment later in the Anglican Cemetery.
