James William "Jim" Bartlett

BARTLETT - Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. James "Jim" William Bartlett of Drumbo in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Karen Bartlett for 38 years. Dear father of Tim Bartlett and his wife April of Drumbo. Special grandpa of Emily, Ethan, and Brayden. Dear brother of Joe Bartlett and his companion Jeannie of London and Lyn Goddard and her late husband Bob (2005) of Strathroy. Beloved son of Dorothy Bartlett of Strathroy. Dear brother-in-law of Ron Gillespie and his wife Judie of Princeton and Morris Eccles and his wife Carole of Huntsville. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his father Thomas "Bill" Bartlett (2003), father-in-law Earl Gillespie (1989), mother-in-law Dorothy Gillespie (2006), and sisters-in-law Joanne Mueller (1975), Carol Eccles (2003) and Betty Gillespie (2004). Prior to settling on their farm in Drumbo in 1975, Jim served for a number of years with the Waterloo Regional Police Department. In addition to working his own farm, Jim was employed with a variety of agricultural businesses in the area. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens, Breslau. Contributions to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
