TUNE, Jack E. - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday April 28, 2011. Jack Earl Tune of Woodstock and formerly of Ingersoll in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Vicki Charmay (nee Cuthbert) Tune for over 35 years. Dear father of Charmay Tune (Leroy Pryce) of Woodstock. Dear brother of George Tune (Shirley) of Eastwood, Marion Petty (Richard) of Harley, son-in-law of Olive Cuthbert, brother-in-law to Diane Danby (Wayne), Michael Cuthbert (Joyce), Dorothy Schwartz (Glenn) and David Cuthbert (Brenda) and survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Isobel (nee Clifford) Tune, brother Harold Tune (late Audrey) and father-in-law Victor Cuthbert. Jack had drove truck for Oxford Sand and Gravel for over 30 years, then for Magic Transport and on weekends drove cab for Star Taxi. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday May 2, 2011 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
