POOL, Jack - Went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday June 16, 2019 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Corrie (nee VanTilburg) Pool for over 53 years. Cherished father of Michael Pool, Carolyn Pool-Bloxsidge and Grace (John) Wildeboer. Loving Opa to Jordan, Joel, Carrie, Jason, Charis and Michael. Dear brother of Sally (Bob) Veenstra, Jean (Mike) Veenstra and is survived by his several In-laws, many nieces and nephews, extended family and a myriad of friends. Predeceased by his parents; Mindert and Grietje Pool, Peter Slager and by his infant brother Jochem. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday June 18, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A memorial service to celebrate Jack's life will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Crescent, Woodstock on Wednesday at 11:30 am. A private interment will have taken place in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
