Jack Johnstone

JOHNSTONE, Jack (Rodney Denton) - Passed away peacefully at Sakura House, on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 following a brief but valiant fight with cancer. Jack , a long time resident of Woodstock, was in his 82nd year; beloved husband of Doreen (nee Becker) for 61 years; cherished father of Wendy and Ted (Chris). He will be missed also by his brother Larry (Barb) Pajuk and his sister Barbara Pajuk as well as sisters-in-law Rhea Becker, Evelyn Coon and Elaine Becker, brother-in-law Graham (Mary) Becker, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Salvation Army, 789 Juliana Dr, Woodstock, ON, Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. No visitation is scheduled but friends and family are invited to join the family for a reception immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to VON Sakura House or The Salvation Army would be welcomed and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
