MURRAY, J. Alexander- Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday, February 22nd, 2019, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Doris Murray (nee Zilke). Loving father of Wayne (Lisa), Don (Heather), and Linda (Tim) Woolcox. Cherished grandfather of Amanda (Ben) Sage, Derek (Amber) Murray, Kara Murray, and Cindy (Johnny) Winstone. Proud great grandfather of Nolan, Liam, Colton, Abby, Kloe, and Kaleb. Alex will be lovingly remembered by his many in-laws. Alex was a lover of dogs and birds. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors hunting, fishing, cutting grass and making memories with his family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 from 2pm to 4 pm and again on Thursday from 10 am to 11 am. The funeral service will take place in the chapel on Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at 11:00 am. Burial to take place in the spring at Presbyterian Cemetery.
