On the blessed day of January 26, 1967, the Lord saw it fit to bring into this world, Iven Padayachy, a true child of the Seychelles. Our dear brother Iven, he who touched many hearts and souls, is now resting in Christ on September 12, 2023, in the peaceful town of Woodstock, Ontario.

Brother Iven was a beacon of light to his family and our community, a man who lived his life for Jesus and in service to others. His spirit was as vibrant and warm as the Seychelles sun under which he was born.

The Lord, in His Divine Wisdom, called Brother Iven to sleep, where he is now resting in Christ until the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we gather to celebrate his life, let us remember the good memories he brought into our lives and all those he encountered on his earthly pilgrimage.

Family and friends wish to invite you to a visitation at Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm. A funeral service will be held at the Woodstock Seventh Day Adventist Church, 594754 Oxford 59, Woodstock (519-456-1323) on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1pm. Cremation will follow. Please rejoin the family back at Brock & Visser Funeral Home for a reception.
