THOMPSON- At her residence on Saturday June 4, 2005. Irene C. Thompson (nee Wilker) of People Care, Tavistock and formerly of Hickson in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late R. Fredrick "Fred" Thompson (1996). Dear mother of Donna Gabris and her husband Ben of Woodstock, Marie Smith and her husband Ray of RR# 5, Lindsay, Ruth Cox and her husband Al of Woodstock, Cathy Hohl and special friend Eddie Lee of RR# 6, Woodstock, Bob Thompson and his wife Robbie and Lorraine Ross and her husband Murray all of Hickson.Loved grandmother of twenty grandchildren, many great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Bob Smith (1977), great grandson Brandon Wood-Smith (1998), Son-in-law Wayne Hohl (1995) and by her brothers Stanley and Sidney Wilker. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday June 7, 2005 at 1:30 pm with Pastor Robert MacGregor officiating.
