SUMSION (Stanton), Irene May - passed away peacefully at Chateau Gardens, Parkhill Ontario, on Saturday June 10th, 2017, in her 95th year. Loving mother of Laurie (Sandy) Stanton, Bonnie (Terry) Bryan, Kenneth (Barbara) Stanton and Flora Stanton. Beloved grandmother of Jeff, Jim (Nicole), Greg (Nicki) and Amy; Julia (Nathan) and Jessica (Daimon); Kyle (Sarah), Corey (Dreena), Kailey and cherished great grandmother of nine. Dear sister of Kathleen Wade and Dick (Mary) Sumsion. Irene will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant son Sean Stanton, grandson Robin Stanton and siblings Frank (Helen) Sumsion, Jack (Jean) Sumsion, Marie (Don) Hartley, Cora (Gordon) Moore, and sister-in-law Helen Sumsion and brother-in-law Hilton Wade. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday June 13th, 2017 from 11 am - 11:45 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday at 12 pm.
