STANLEY - At her residence on Thursday January 10, 2008. Irene E. Stanley (nee LeCras) of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock and formerly of Russell St., Woodstock in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Frank N. Stanley (1995). Dear mother of Linda Dermo and her husband Peter of Cambridge, Karen Green and her husband Wayne of Ingersoll and Elizabeth Stanley (Rob Rice) of London. Loved grandmother of Tracy Vankalsbeek (Jason), Christopher Brooks (Jennifer), Kelli Dennis (Jamie Pugh), John Swerdfeger (Ann), Shawn Brooks (Denise), Samantha Green and great grandmother of Katelyn, Cassidy, Madylin, Jaden, Kyra, Deana, Darian, Lincoln and Evan. Predeceased by her granddaughter Rebecca (1978), her sisters Gladys Vale (2005), Doris Moyer (1978) and her brother Walter LeCras (1998). She was the last surviving member of her own family. Irene was a long standing member of All Saints Anglican Church and Church of the Nazarene and had been a member of the Salvation Army Home League. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday January 13, 2008 after 12:00 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
