Beloved wife of J. Vance Day for over 66 years. Dear mother of John (Cathy) Day and mother-in-law of Larry Arneill. Loved grandmother of Carrie Arneill, Brodie Day, Tecla (Nick) Bruckschwaiger and great grandmother of Tytan, Zenyn and Matigan. Dear sister of June Wray, Ronald (Anne) Butson, Barry (Donna) Butson and sister-in-law to Florence Butson and Bruce (Dorothy) Day. Irene is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her daughter Carolyn Arneill (2015) and by her siblings Lena Million, Leonard Butson and by her brother-in-law Dick Wray.
